Frequently Asked Questions

What should my child bring?
All necessary technology is provided. Students should bring a water bottle. Snacks are for longer programs or camps only.

What ages do you serve?

Craftable programs are currently designed with children ages 7–12 in mind. Outside of age range placement is done on a case by case basis. Please reach out before signing up.

Do students need prior coding or Minecraft experience?

No prior experience is required. Programs are designed for beginners as well as students with some experience. Instruction is adjusted to meet students where they are.

What platforms do you use?

All our apps are school approved. Some of the apps we use include: Minecraft Education Edition, VEXcode GO, Blockly, and Scratch.

Where are you located?

Craftable is based in Kahului, Maui. Detailed location information is provided on the Contact page and in enrollment confirmation emails.

Is your location wheelchair accessible?

Our current classroom is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator access. If you have accessibility concerns, please contact us prior to enrollment.

How big are class sizes?

Instructor-led class sizes are kept small (10 max) to ensure individualized attention, meaningful interaction, and a supportive learning environment.

Do you offer camps and ongoing classes?

Yes. Craftable offers classes, camps, and special events. Current offerings and schedules are listed on the classes page.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

Policies regarding enrollment, cancellations, refunds, and minimum enrollment requirements are outlined on our policies page and before booking a program.

Is this just playing Minecraft during the Minecraft offerings?

No. While Minecraft is the platform used, sessions are intentionally structured and instructor-led. Students work through guided challenges and projects.

Minecraft Education allows students to code behaviors, build with purpose, and complete learning objectives—not just free play. Each session has clear goals, and students are encouraged to explain their thinking, collaborate with peers, and apply what they learn. At the end of the session there is "free play" if time allows where students can use their new skills in a shared, monitor world.

How can I contact you?

You can reach us through the Contact page on the website or by emailing amanda@craftableclub.com. We’re happy to answer questions before enrollment.

What are your pick-up procedures?

Parents or authorized adults are responsible for picking up students on time at the scheduled dismissal time. Parents who have signed off on our dismissal procedure can have their child use the handrail and meet them at the bottom of the stairs under their supervision.
